Cristiano Gavião commented on FELIX-5048:
-----------------------------------------

Well, that won't be so simple as I was expecting.
The new jars are for the version 6.0.0 that brings 3 new methods for interface org.osgi.service.repository.Repository.

> Move BundleRepository to new OSGi Alliance jars

>
> Key: FELIX-5048
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FELIX-5048
> Project: Felix
> Issue Type: Improvement
> Components: Bundle Repository (OBR)
> Affects Versions: bundlerepository-2.0.4
> Reporter: Cristiano Gavião
>
> org.apache.felix.bundlerepository is using not official org.osgi.core and org.osgi.compendium
jars.
>
> Besides those artifacts was set as dependency using compile scope. that could lead to
those artifacts to wrongly be installed into the container.
> The suggestion is to move to OSGi Alliance's osgi.cmpn and osgi.core official jars and
set them as dependencies using provided scope.
