I have experimented the following work around, which seems to resolve many concurrency issues in the felix 1.6.0.
And I wonder if it might also be helpful or not in the trunk:

in the scr 1.6.0, I'm using the following SerialExecutor from Neil Bartlett free osgi book, and slightly adapted it in order to allow it to be reentrant, and plugged it in the DependencyManager, when getting called in the serviceChanged method.

what I like with this is that concurrent service events can be handled by the serial executor without holding any locks, but of course the serial executor also has the drawback of serializing every multi thread events in one single worker thread ...

Of course, this fully breaks concurrency and the SerialExecutor should also be plugged when handling configuration events, may be ...

I have tried this with felix 1.6.0 because I had many concurrency issues in the old release, but I will try this with the trunk and see how the integration test is working or not.
