Subject [jira] Commented: (FELIX-569) Improve Configuration Page

Valentin Valchev commented on FELIX-569:
----------------------------------------

Well, for the first column - IMHO it should stay. You can sort the table by the fist column
and this way you can easily "group" the configurations by their factory PID.

For the pointer - it's possible. Just append a class="pointer" for the 'name' column and add
this to the CSS file:
.pointer { cursor: pointer }

The buttons - tried, but couldn't. Should first investigate the generated JQuery UI Dialog
markup, and see it it is possible.

What means "bold" for the user? How he/she will know that these bold entries are factories?
For usability purpose I guess, it would be better to add another table for factories, and
appropriate captions for the both tables. Isn't it?

> At the moment the way to select the Configuration page is not so user friendly.
> The more component you have , the more it get difficult to find in the drop down list.
> So to make it more easy I would suggest to introduce some kind of "Tree" browse with
categorized component configuration eventually.
