> On POSIX compliant shells, 'cd' may print to stdout when a nonempty directory name from
the CDPATH environment variable is used successfully. The karaf startup script uses 'cd' output
to set KARAF_HOME and the extra output causes an error. This can happen when the CDPATH contains
'.' and a relative path is used, for example:
> bash$ cd /opt/karaf
> bash$ echo $CDPATH
> .:..:/foo/bar
> bash$ bin/karaf
> KARAF_HOME is not valid: /opt/karaf
> /opt/karaf
