Date Wed, 06 Aug 2008 13:02:44 GMT

Peter Kriens commented on FELIX-573:

The problem is easy to fix, just ensure that there is a !yahoo-dom-event, ... in the Export-Package

I will not fix this because there is a debate going on about this inside the OSGi. Spring
is a little bit overly strict here.

> automatically ignore invalid packages
> -------------------------------------
> Key: FELIX-573
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FELIX-573
> Project: Felix
> Issue Type: Improvement
> Components: Maven Bundle Plugin
> Affects Versions: maven-bundle-plugin-1.4.1
> Reporter: Gerolf Seitz
> Priority: Minor
> Fix For: maven-bundle-plugin-1.6.0
> it would be nice if the plugin could automatically ignore invalid packages.
> our usecase: that the wicket-datetime project has a folder "yahoo-dom-event" inside the
package structure.
> when this folder is included in the Import-Package and Export-Package headers, the manifest
becomes invalid.
