Hall (JIRA)" To: dev@felix.apache.org Subject: [jira] Created: (FELIX-537) Create a standard legend for bundle subprojects to clearly indicate compatibility statement MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=utf-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit X-Virus-Checked: Checked by ClamAV on apache.org Create a standard legend for bundle subprojects to clearly indicate compatibility statement ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Key: FELIX-537 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FELIX-537 Project: Felix Issue Type: Task Components: Documentation Reporter: Richard S. Hall We need create some sort of standard legend for prominent display on our web pages that indicate information such as, whether the bundle should work on all OSGi framework implementations, which framework implementations has it been tested on, which Java platforms it should work on, and perhaps others. The important thing here is that this legend should be a simple and concise compatibility statement for a specific bundle subproject, so that prospective users will be able to easily determine if it can meet their needs. Further, this legend will serve as an education tool so that prospective users can learn that we support the use of our bundles on other frameworks. It would be nice if this standard legend could also look aesthetically appealing, perhaps with icons, etc. -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA. - You can reply to this email to add a comment to the issue online.
