Subject [jira] Commented: (FELIX-513) Unable to cache bundle: file:bundle when started in Cygwin from outside Felix home directory
Date Wed, 12 Mar 2008 18:34:46 GMT

Richard S. Hall commented on FELIX-513:
---------------------------------------

I would be happy to have an installer that could modify the variables...in addition that same
installer should install Felix as a service/daemon too...we have wanted this for a while and
have the basics in place in the trunk, but no one with the knowledge (and/or time) has looked
into finishing it off.

However, if we are going to do a stop-gap measure, then I prefer trying to guess the location
over FELIX_HOME-like approach, because it makes it easy for people to move and/or make copies
of their installations.
