Subject [jira] Commented: (FELIX-248) Executing "shutdown" within the shellGUI often causes a stack trace

Richard S. Hall commented on FELIX-248:
---------------------------------------

I was running Sun SE 1.4.2 under Ubuntu, so I tried Sun SE 1.6.0 and still wasn't able to
reproduce after many runs.

I can think of one way to try to resolve this. How about modifying each plugin to have a synchronized
stop() method which will be called from the Activator.stop() to inform each plugin that its
context is no longer valid? Any better ideas?
