Subject [jira] Updated: (FELIX-46) Create a simple "felix" script in bin/ to start the framework interactively
Date Mon, 13 Nov 2006 04:46:37 GMT

Richard S. Hall updated FELIX-46:

    Fix Version/s: 1.0.0
                       (was: 0.8.0)

Moving this to the 1.0.0 release since it is not a major concern for the 0.8.0 release and
involves the fancy installer.

> This is related JIRA issue FELIX-44 (i.e., renaming Felix daemon to "felixd"). Perhaps
we should include a simple script in the installation bin/ directory called "felix" to start
the framework interactively. This is purely a convenience feature for new users to get them
started quickly, but it would also further clear up potential confusion over "felixd" for
new users.
