True, except that I said that I grabbed the Eclipse source for these packages and hacked them to compile; these packages do reference the Filter impl directly. And we would likely do the same thing, since the level of indirection is not really needed and even if we don't here, BJ detailed other cases where we probably will want/have to reference implementation details. -> richard
