With the archetype, we have already provided a sample example tutorial with it and illustrated how to use Falcon Unit while writing the tests. The problem with putting this on add ons is that we are using FalconUnit api's as part of our sample example, so the code may get out of sync eventually since we don't build add ons as part of our normal build. Putting in the core ensures that the code will always be in sync. > Creating archetype for falcon pipelines > --------------------------------------- > > Key: FALCON-1687 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FALCON-1687 > Project: Falcon > Issue Type: Bug > Reporter: Narayan Periwal > Assignee: Narayan Periwal > Attachments: FALCON-1687-v0.patch, Sample_Archetype.pdf > > > This will help user to easily onboard new pipelines in falcon. Also, it will include submitting and scheduling of entities using falcon unit. This will help users to test their pipeline through falcon unit. -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v6.3.4#6332)
