Subject [jira] [Commented] (FALCON-1707) Code Refactoring for Falcon Client
Date Thu, 14 Jan 2016 18:17:39 GMT

Ajay Yadava commented on FALCON-1707:

Just to clarify it a bit more, this JIRA is to just improve the code quality and not to make
any functional changes. The JIRA which actually does the functional changes is FALCON-1704
and that is the one which affects 0.9 release. We can release even if this is not done but
I had promised [~Praveen] that I will finish it before he finishes FALCON-1704 so that he
can leverage the new API.

> Code Refactoring for Falcon Client
> ----------------------------------
> Key: FALCON-1707
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FALCON-1707
> Project: Falcon
> Issue Type: Sub-task
> Components: client
> Reporter: Ajay Yadava
> Assignee: Ajay Yadava
> Currently the Falcon Client side code has several inefficiencies and is quite messy.
For example, making change in one method requires changes in several other API calls as well.
As part of this JIRA we should refactor the code to make it more maintainable and increase
code reuse.
