Subject [jira] [Created] (FALCON-994) Displaying events are captured by Falcon in the Web UI
Date Thu, 15 Jan 2015 16:19:34 GMT
Adam Kawa created FALCON-994:
--------------------------------

Summary: Displaying events are captured by Falcon in the Web UI
                 Key: FALCON-994
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FALCON-994
             Project: Falcon
          Issue Type: New Feature
          Components: ui, webapp
    Affects Versions: 0.6, 0.7, trunk
            Reporter: Adam Kawa

It would be useful to be able to come to the office in the morning and have a quick look at
Falcon Web UI to check if some ETL processes failed during a night or what feeds are still
not yet generated...

One idea might be to have an additional column in the main process table ({{index.html?type=process}})
that shows the status and time of the last instance of the process (e.g failed, running, succeeded).

Other idea might be simply visualising {{logs/falcon.metric.log}} in a nice way (e.g. drop-down
menu that allows quickly find recently running processed by status, name etc).
