Venkatesh Seetharam commented on FALCON-428:
--------------------------------------------

bq. what is the design of MetadataMappingService for lineage in distributed mode?
[~satish.mittal], Good question. I'm yet to update the docs for this. This should only be
enabled in Falcon and not in Prism and should be reflected in the code as well in startup.properties.
{code}prism.application.services=org.apache.falcon.entity.store.ConfigurationStore{code}

We will need to have an API in Prism to federate the lineage information when we build the
dashboard.

Makes sense?

> With latest trunk, set falcon in distributed mode where both prism and falcon server
were started from same installation directory. The server that is started first comes up properly.
However the second server isn't able to initialize its context properly, thereby not able
to handle any requests.
