Venkatesh Seetharam commented on FALCON-173:
--------------------------------------------

I thought hadoop profile is activated by default, no? We did not and hence it added the hadoop
dependency. I think this is quite confusing. When I need to build falcon with hadoop-2 profile,
I ought to use -Dhadoop.profile but packaging needs a different one.

Seriously, FALCON-106 is a dire need. Also, appreciate if we could open a jira and fix the
docs. Thanks!

> Noticed this on the distributed artifacts built from trunk.
> hadoop-core-1.1.2.jar exists in the exploded falcon.war in WEB-INF/lib.
> This causes the hadoop jars that are deployed on the system to not be picked up as they
appear in the classpath after falcon related items are added to the cp.
