This removed support for HADOOP_HOME which is what works on Hadoop 1. I would recommend adding
the following to the script before we check if HADOOP_PREFIX is set.

HADOOP_PREFIX="${HADOOP_PREFIX:-$HADOOP_HOME}"
{code}

This way if HADOOP_HOME or HADOOP_PREFIX is set they will be respected.
