Hi Thomas,

Have you tried compiling using maven2 ? It should be as easy as typing 
'mvn clean install' from the root (add -Dmaven.test.skip=true to disable 
tests). If it doesn't work let me know and i'll have a look. I cannot 
comment on the maven1 build failure, never used it sorry.
