Then you're all good to go.

It's also a good idea to keep track of which patches go into your
releases by including it in the CHANGELOG.  Just referencing the JIRA
item and the person who suppled the patch is enough.

You don't have to, but it's useful in the future if you ever need to
track down the contributors for a particular release.  Also, it's nice
to call out all the contributors for each release.  Helps everyone feel
a bit more connected to the community when you can see who the whole
"team" is.
