Sling and a few other projects use *two* confluence Wikis, for example:

http://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/SLING is public

http://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/SLINGxSITE requires
authorization for editing, and is used to generate
http://incubator.apache.org/sling

That works well for the Sling project.
