Subject [jira] [Commented] (DRILL-5288) JSON data not read as string when store.json.all_text_mode=true
Date Tue, 28 Feb 2017 20:15:45 GMT

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DRILL-5288?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=15888798#comment-15888798

Khurram Faraaz commented on DRILL-5288:
---------------------------------------

Since we set store.json.all_text_mode=true, shouldn't Drill treat the data as just a string,
irrespective of where it is coming from or what format it is ?, and return a string to the
user.

JSONLint complains that there is a duplicate key 'key' in the JSON file used in this test.

> Setting all text mode to true (at system/session level) does not help in this case. Data
from the JSON input file is not returned as string.
