1. Agree
2. When exception is thrown, the error message will show users where to find more detailed
message. An example as below:

org.apache.drill.exec.rpc.RpcException: DrillUnsupportedTypeException: SMALLINT is not supported

3. & 4. Right! I found a place which is passed through by both logics. This can moreover
localize code change.
