Subject [jira] [Commented] (DRILL-1510) Join does not work in Hbase
Date Fri, 30 Jan 2015 00:01:34 GMT

Hanifi Gunes commented on DRILL-1510:

Marking this as minor with the thinking that it is a seldom case that occurs only if user
executes a join on top of empty schema-free table(s). Unfortunately, current HashJoin implementation
does not consider the situation where a file is empty. It handles just fine if an incoming
batch is empty though. I think we should discuss at first if spending many engineering hours
on this worth the result. This is my two cents.
