Jacques Nadeau commented on DRILL-1646:
---------------------------------------

Venkata, can you see if this is the same behavior if a second record has actual data. Drill
considers an empty array the same as null. It also considers an empty field the same as a
non-existent field. As such, from Drill's perspective, you're trying to query an empty file.
The error message isn't great but this is expected for now. Will update as enhancement.
If this occurs when a second record has actual data, this is a bug.
