Subject [GitHub] drill issue #666: DRILL-4956: Temporary tables support
Date Mon, 19 Dec 2016 15:06:02 GMT
Github user arina-ielchiieva commented on the issue:

I have re-designed CTTAS, here is the main changes:
    1. Temp table name is generated using UUID.randowmUUID().
    2. All session temp tables are stored in session temp location (corresponds to session
id). On session close this folder is deleted recursively.
    3. One session can have several temp locations (since default temporary workspace config
can change at runtime).
    4. Temp table can be created only in one workspace (declared as default in configuration).
    5. Permissions are applied on folder and file levels: persistent tables (folder -775,
files - 644), temporary tables (folders - 700. files - 600).
Please note, drill-override-example.conf contains link to CTTAS documentation on gist,
currently it's empty but I'll update it once CTTAS design is final.
