Subject [jira] [Commented] (DL-3) Move distributedlog website to apache
Date Mon, 25 Jul 2016 02:54:20 GMT

Franck Cuny commented on DL-3:
------------------------------

[~sijie@apache.org] it should be possible to generate the static site from rst to html, and
publish it that way either to github pages, or a different location. This would avoid rewriting
the configuration in another syntax, and it would be easier to sync. with twitter's documentation
format.

I can script this part if that sounds OK.

> Currently the distributedlog website is hosted at Github: http://distributedlog.io
> All the documentation is written in reStructuredText (http://docutils.sourceforge.net/rst.html).
However, the website is generated using an internal tool at Twitter.
> We need to move to an open source solution for generating the documentation and website
