Hi, ok, I just started putting periods in the field, Doh!

RFC 2798 sec 2.4 employeeNumber is defined as 

"Numeric or alphanumeric identifier assigned to a person, typically
   based on order of hire or association with an organization.  Single
   valued."

Alphanumeric is what it means.. :-)

is the attribute 'employeeNumber' of type numeric, then the assertion value in filter is of
wrong, a string value was given
