My last comment (about finding out whether ADS was suitable) was more about the fact that I am a complete newbie to directory services. I have a sneaky feeling that ADS (directory services) will be useful in being able to store, lookup and use squillions of diddy java objects - stored and looked-up in a manner similar to a registry. This feels instinctively faster than storing them in a RDBMS. (And having used Eclipse (and liked it) I have recently started using Netbeans - cos the JavaEE tutorials use Netbeans. So it would be useful to integrate to Netbeans.) PS Sorry but getting upset about top-posting/bottom-posting is decidedly anally retentive :-) > > Thanks ! >
