Instead of writing your own custom partition, I think you probably just need to instantiate
a JDBM partition.

Partition myTestPartition = new JdbmPartition();
myTestPartition.setId( "test" );
myTestPartition.setSuffix( "dc=test,dc=com" );
service.addPartition( myTestPartition );
