Emmanuel Lecharny commented on DIRSERVER-2217:
----------------------------------------------

Weirder and weirder...

The error message clearly indicate that the two ports are used when you start the server.
If you don't see them used with netstat or lsof, that means the server is using those 2 ports
twice. What is your configuration ? Also can you attache the server logs in DEBUG mode ?

> Unable to start the ApacheDS server on any reserved ports. Error message is always:
"The ports of the following protocols are already in use." Confirmed repeatability on brand
new OS X Sierra Virtual Machine with only JVM 8 and Directory Studio installed. Started application
with sudo doesn't resolve the issue.
