Emmanuel Lecharny commented on DIRSTUDIO-1150:
----------------------------------------------

I have added a parameter in the connection tab. It now looks like that :

{noformat}
.---------------------------------------------------------------------------.
| Connection                                                                |

{noformat}

The timeout is properly saved on disk, and propagated to the {{LdapNetworkConnection}}. What
I still have to do is to propagate it to the JNDI connection, and use seconds instead of ms
(because ms is not really convenient).

Last, not least, an infinite timeout should be possible, using 0. It's not working atm, it
just quit immediately, failing any operation.

Note that I haven't committed anything, because I think my env is using my own version of
the API, which is a branch. Will have to check that.

And btw, it works in Eclipse Oxygen, without a blip.

> It would be great to have a possibility to configure the connection timeout, which defaults
to 30 seconds. Ideally, that would be an extended parameter in the {{Network Parameter}} tab
of the connection.
