Subject [jira] [Commented] (DIRSTUDIO-1092) Eclipse Mars.1 plug-in update URL link does not work with Mars.1
Date Fri, 19 Feb 2016 19:33:18 GMT

Stefan Seelmann commented on DIRSTUDIO-1092:

I assume that cached metadata was the cause. It seems different Eclipse versions use different
cache locations, the "oomph" thing is new in Eclipse Mars, older Eclipse versions seem to
use "~/.p2" as cache. But I'm not totally sure.

I'm glad that at the end it worked for your. Your last directory listing shows "http___www.apache.org_dist_directory_studio..."
so the plugins were downloaded from there. Thanks for all the investigation.

> The Marketplace and Directory Studio Website update link ''
does not work with Eclipse Mars.1. When requesting plug-in update/install information using
the update link, the Eclipse install/update client is not able to retrieve any plug-in update/install
information with respect to the 2.0.0-M10 release.
> Marketplace says: "The following solutions are not available: Apache Directory Studio
> Direct URL install says: "There are no items available"
> Update link does work with Eclipse Juno & Luna, did not test with Kepler.
