Regarding the project name, since we're going to apply for the git repo, I'm wondering if we
could sort it out first, to avoid further change later if possible.

Discussion and vote about adding a new committer is always done on the private mailing list

This is currently being discussed on trademarks@apache.org mailing list.
yes, Apache Kerberos Server is not likely to be a suitable name for the project...
