Anshuman reopened DIRSERVER-1877:
---------------------------------

Can you please provide some info / point me to the documentation on how to figure out the
dependency graph for ApacheDS to make it work standalone? We are not using Maven/Ivy, so doing
this manually would be quite timetaking and error prone.
What I am referring to is somthing like what is displayed for apache commons.
Ex: http://commons.apache.org/proper/commons-configuration/dependencies.html

> The ApacheDS currently ships as a single service jar. This however includes all the dependencies
bundled within it (ex: javax.servlet.*, mina, slf4j, etc). There should be option to download
just the ApacheDS code so that when working in an embedded environment, unwanted dependencies
can be avoided and for mandatory dependencies like mina, the application may chose a different
version.
