Emmanuel Lecharny resolved DIRSERVER-1705.

    Resolution: Cannot Reproduce

It seems to be fixed in trunk. I tried to add an entry with EmployeeNumber=john.smith, and
to search it with (EmployeeNumber=john.smith), and got back teh entry with no error.
