For future reference, the fix was detailed in the following thread (from FreeBSD-Eclipse mailing list): http://lists.freebsd.org/pipermail/freebsd-eclipse/2012-July/001774.html > After installing Apache Directory Studio LDAP browser plugin, there is no LDAP context > -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: DIRSTUDIO-830 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DIRSTUDIO-830 > Project: Directory Studio > Issue Type: Bug > Components: studio-ldapbrowser > Affects Versions: 2.0.0-M3 > Environment: FreeBSD 9.1-RC1 amd64, openjdk 6, eclipse Indigo (3.7.1) > Reporter: Reuben Popp > Labels: freebsd > > Hello out there. I've attempted to install the LDAP browser plugin for eclipse, but upon a restart, there isn't an LDAP context. I've attempted installation via Eclipse's add software using the source repository link (http://directory.apache.org/studio/update/2.x). I have even tried an older release (1.5.x) with the same result. > I have also attempted building it from a svn co (2.0.0.v20120224). The build finishes successfully, afterwhich I built the application-updatesite portion. This also completes successfully. However, Eclipse does not see any software anywhere under the root directory of the build (and apparently doesn't like the zip files in application-updatesite). > Eclipse doesn't show any errors and I don't see a log file under ~/workspace/.metadata. Is there something I'm missing here? -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA.
