I thought the project was there on its own, to allow us to run and debug ApacheDS inside Felix
(and that the project was not intended to be used by any other project).

There's no need to manually set the location. The classpath is updated automatically by 'mvn
eclipse:eclipse'.
I tested it and I was able to run Felix successfully (with the same current errors as before).
