Subject [jira] [Closed] (DIRSERVER-1604) The '+' special attribute used for lookups isn't handled correctly
Date Sun, 22 May 2011 10:59:47 GMT

     [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DIRSERVER-1604?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:all-tabpanel
]

Kiran Ayyagari closed DIRSERVER-1604.
-------------------------------------

    Resolution: Fixed

I ran the command
ldapsearch -H ldap://localhost:10389 -x -D "uid=admin,ou=system" -W -b "ou=system" -s sub
-a always -z 1 "(objectClass=*)" "+"
and got the expected output (only operaational attributes were returned)
Looks like this is resolved during the recent changes to code.

> Doing a lookup and passing only the '+' attribute returns *all* the attributes, including
the users attribute. This is not what is expected, if we read RFC 3673
> I have to check if we don't do the same error for searches
