can you test by replacing the assertion with the below one
assertEquals( URI.create( zzzDir.getPath() ).toString(),
index.getWkDirPath().getPath() );

the index.getWkDirPath().getPath() is returning a URI now using the
File.getPath() on windows has
issues cause it has this <drive>:\XXX syntax
