Subject [jira] Commented: (DIRSTUDIO-693) Persistence Tooling should create full maven project
Date Sun, 19 Sep 2010 16:46:33 GMT

Stefan Seelmann commented on DIRSTUDIO-693:

Regarding the groupId and artifactId: Using the package name as default groupId is a good
choice, the default artifactId is also ok. What we should add in future is to let the user
decide which kind of project (Maven, Ant, Eclipse ...) s/he wants to create, and depending
on her/his choice we show an additional wizard page that asks for specific project parameters.

Regarding move to trunk I'll create new Jiras.

> The current version of the persistence tooling supports creation of an Java bean and
a DAO class. It would be nice to create a full maven project. The POM should contain all necessary
dependencies so that the generated code could be used immediately.
