Aaron J Angel commented on DIR-264:
-----------------------------------

ApacheDS trunk downloaded yesterday, and Studio 1.5.2.v20091211. I can't tell if the bug is
in the server or the studio; schema updates work as expected with ApacheDS 1.5.4 and Studio
but it doesn't seem to like ApacheDS trunk. I just upgraded to the latest version of Studio
this morning and it exhibits the same bevavior. I also noticed that when changing from STRUCTURAL
to AUXILIARY, ApacheDS must be restarted to modify the object class again. This doesn't just
happen with posixGroup, either; adding new schema, etc., has the same effect in Studio until
Studio's schema cache file is deleted by hand.

> After enabling the nis schema and modifying the posixGroup objectclass from structural
to auxiliary and refreshing the schema in Directory Studio, the posixGroup class fails to
show when attempting to create a new object until the schema cache in Studio is manually deleted
(refreshing in the GUI does not work).
