Subject [jira] Updated: (DIRSTUDIO-693) Persistence Tooling should create full maven project
Date Wed, 15 Sep 2010 08:02:32 GMT

Kasun Lakpriya updated DIRSTUDIO-693:
-------------------------------------

    Attachment: pom-generation.patch

After applying this patch it is possible to generate the pom.xml also. Then after a,

- mvn clean install eclipse:eclipse

we can import the maven project to Eclipse workspace without any problem as I can see.

I used the package name as the groupid and 'example' as the artifactid which
should be changed to a more meaningful name, any idea?

And what improvements and cleanups should be made in order to move the persistence-tooling
module to directory trunk?

> The current version of the persistence tooling supports creation of an Java bean and
a DAO class. It would be nice to create a full maven project. The POM should contain all necessary
dependencies so that the generated code could be used immediately.
