Subject [jira] Reopened: (DIRSTUDIO-686) Improvements in Attribute wizard page
Date Tue, 10 Aug 2010 20:38:16 GMT

Stefan Seelmann reopened DIRSTUDIO-686:

The preselection of attributes should work a bit different, sorry that I wasn't precise. For
example if I have the following entry:

dn: cn=dummy,ou=system
objectClass: inetOrgPerson
objectClass: organizationalPerson
objectClass: person
objectClass: top
cn: dummy
sn: dummy

Then I'd like that 'cn' and 'sn' (note that objectClass is filtered are preselected, all other
attributes (mail, telephoneNumber, userPassword, etc.) should not be selected.

And regarding the sorting, it would also be nice if sorting would also work for the 1st column
(LDAP Attribute) and if by default the table would be sorted ascending (A top, Z at bottom)
by 'LDAP Attribute' column.

A last serious issue: On the first page the 'Next' and 'Finish' are enabled even if no project
folder is selected. This should be checked. Where is the code generated in such a case?

> Attribute list should be sorted by attribute name to make it easier to find attributes.
> All attributes that are defined in the selected entry should be pre-selected.
> The objectClass attribute should be filtered out because this attribute is managed by
the DAO.
> The table should have a scroll bar. Currently if I choose an intetOrgPerson entry with
many attributes not all attributes are displayed and I'm not able to scroll.
