Subject [jira] Created: (DIRSERVER-1526) Cursor.available() method semantic is inconsistant
Date Thu, 15 Jul 2010 11:49:50 GMT
Cursor.available() method semantic is inconsistant
--------------------------------------------------

                 Key: DIRSERVER-1526
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DIRSERVER-1526
             Project: Directory ApacheDS
          Issue Type: Bug
    Affects Versions: 1.5.7
            Reporter: Emmanuel Lecharny
            Priority: Critical
             Fix For: 2.0.0-RC1

The available() method is supposed to tell if the cursor.get() method will succeed or not.
This is not what it does for all the implemented classes. Sometime it just returns false if
no previous fetch has been done.
