Subject [jira] Commented: (DIRSHARED-56) Precompute HashCode for schemaObjects
Date Sat, 20 Mar 2010 09:53:27 GMT

Emmanuel Lecharny commented on DIRSHARED-56:

The best solution woud be to make the SchemaObject Immutable classes. We will need a factory
to create schemaObjects.

> We must pre-compute the HashCode value for SchemaObject, as those values are used every
time we manipulate a hashMap containing an AT, an OC (entries, for instance), and a call to
AT/OC.hashCode() is done each time.
> This cost a hell lot of CPU time for nothing, as those elements are static.
