Stefan Seelmann resolved DIRSTUDIO-268.
---------------------------------------

    Resolution: Duplicate

We added a new dialog/wizard to edit an entry offline, see DIRSTUDIO-153 and DIRSTUDIO-291.
Do you think that solution fits your needs?

> Project: Directory Studio
> Issue Type: New Feature
> Components: studio-ldapbrowser

> Currently all LDAP modifications by Directory Studio are immediately written through
to the server if you leave a text field.
> There should be another mode, where changes are not written until a submit button is
pressed, so the user can review her changes first, especially especially if she edits several
attributes at the same time.
> The user should be able to configure the default behaviour: write through or wait for
submit.
> See also users@directory.apache.org mailings from Jan 21, 2008.
