Stefan Seelmann commented on DIRSERVER-1234:
--------------------------------------------

What would be the best solution for this? I have two ideas:

1st:
Modify the SearchHandler, that it doesn't add (objectClass=referral) when searching cn=schema

2nd:
Modify the SchemaInterceptor to handle (|(objectClass=subschema)(objectClass=referral))

I already have a patch with the 1st solution, it works fine. However I would ask what would
be the better way or if there another solution.

> When requesting the schema cn=schema and no ManageDsaIT control is present in the request,
the server does not return the schema entry.
> The reason is that the SearchHandler adds an OR'd filter (objectClass=referral) to the
user's filter, however in the SchemaInterceptor this enhanced filter (|(objectClass=subschema)(objectClass=referral))
isn't handled.
