Subject [jira] Resolved: (DIRSTUDIO-205) Windows installer's publisher is set to "Unknown Publisher"
Date Mon, 17 Dec 2007 18:39:43 GMT

Pierre-Arnaud Marcelot resolved DIRSTUDIO-205.

    Resolution: Won't Fix
      Assignee: Pierre-Arnaud Marcelot

We can't fix this.

As stated here[1], the "Open file - Security Warning" dialog appears when you run a file from
network share and there's nothing we can add to the installer to prevent this...

Here's a fix to not be annoyed again:
   1. Open the Control Panel
   2. Open Internet Options
   3. Click the Security Tab
   4. Click on Local Intranet
   5. Click on Sties
   6. Click Advanced
   7. Type the drive letter of your file server where the application is located in the "Add
this website to this zone" box.
   8. Click Add
   9. Click Close
  10. Click OK
  11. Close Internet Options by clicking OK
  12. Close the Control Panel

> Windows installer's publisher is set to "Unknown Publisher". This causes a security warning
to be displayed when opening the installer.
