Subject [jira] Updated: (DIRSERVER-984) Use xbean-spring to make configuration more comprehensible

David Jencks updated DIRSERVER-984:
-----------------------------------

    Attachment: DIRSERVER-984.diff

Conversion of apacheds to use xbean-spring for configuration. Only part probably not good
to commit is the changes in log4j.properties which try to show that the server really does
start :-)

I haven't been able to deploy the xbean 3.1-SNAPSHOT due to someone using the wrong permissions
on their upload, so for now you have to build xbean yourself if you want to try this.

> I've been experimenting with xbean-spring to make the server.xml file more comprehensible.
It's pretty non-invasive, it just requires adding some javadoc "annotations" to the source.
I'll attach the patch here and discuss on the dev list.
