Which JDK version are you using ? I have not build anything I run the precompiled binaries I installed from apacheds-1.0.1-linux-i386-setup.jar downloaded from one of the mirrors. I do not have maven installed, the version of java, apacheds is using accoring to the apacheds init script is: java version "1.5.0_08" Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.5.0_08-b03) Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.5.0_08-b03, mixed mode) Do I have to pre-build the server to be able to run it with jsvc??
