Very strange... Alex, any idea ?
 
I think this might be due to not having the daemon.jar which is just c= ommons-daemon in the classpath.  This might make jsvc barf as it is do= ing.

Sure just use the debug option still but comment out the debug paramet= ers or remove them.  For the next release we can add a start-non-daemo= n case in addition to start|stop|debug.
